Empowered Aging

As a consultant, I support families as they navigate the changing care needs of a loved one. I work with them to identify challenges, assess current needs and develop personalized care plans that capture the clients values & wishes. As a coach, I support caregivers as they learn how to care for themselves while also caring for an an aging parent, spouse and/or others. I have been passionate about the field of aging for as long as I can remember. I got a Master's degree in Gerontology in 1997 and most of my work experience has been as an advocate in long term care settings and in geriatric care management. I am looking forward to meeting, referring and collaborating with others in this community. Other services include: home visits, doctor appointments, home safety evaluations, care oversight, research and referrals.
